New batteries are available at $39. Comes with a battery of unknown condition. This unit can run on AC power without a battery.

The XL is similar to the earlier Dinamap 8100 series, but has added Stat Mode, user-selectable target cuff inflation pressure, and a lower pulse rate determination range (30 bpm)

The Critikon Dinamap XL Adult/pediatric non-invasive blood pressure monitor measures systolic, mean, and diastolic pressures at preset levels, as well as pulse rate. Alarm and visual signals indicate when pressure goes outside preset limits.
